180° is the youth ministry of Emirates Baptist Church International. We welcome any youth between the ages of 12 and 18 years old to join us. No payment or

What does 180° mean?
180° is a mathematical term and measurement that can be used to indicate a complete change in direction. If an object is traveling in a straight line, it would need
to rotate 180° in order to travel in the exact opposite direction. A person that makes a 180° turn, basically, makes a U-turn.
This term helps us better understand the change that Jesus power brings about in our spiritual lives. We are born into sin, separated from God and living only
for ourselves. We are on a straight line moving away from God with our backs to him.
Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are saved from our sins and reconciled to God. We
move from a life of self-centeredness to a life of loving God and others. Through the
transformation work of God in our lives, we make a U-turn and start progressing
toward and pursuing God. The Bible describes this change as a move from darkness to light, from old to new, from death to life, and from lost to saved.
